The ban reason? “Misogyny.”

That’s it. No other context.

Meanwhile, I have multiple posts saying that Gavin Newsom has fake charisma, that JD Vance couldn’t land a punchline if it was gift-wrapped, and that Kamala Harris’s delivery is flatter than Kansas, and not a single mod ever cared. Zero warnings, zero bans.

No one is attacking AOC as a woman. Just an ally giving the exact same constructive feedback one would give every politician one likes. Humor and stage presence matter in elections. Obama used it. Bernie used it. Even Trump weaponizes it. Suggesting AOC level up her comedic timing so she can crush a general election isn’t misogyny it’s strategy.

The mods basically said “you can’t give tough-but-friendly advice to a female politician even if you give it to everyone else.” That’s not protecting anyone. That’s just fragile, reactionary mod behavior that shrinks the left and drives allies away.

Am I missing something here, or is this exactly the kind of purity-test nonsense that makes people roll their eyes at certain corners of the left?
