Another perspective on the local elections
I def understand the stress of seeing the raw number of Reform councillors, but I think the better perspective is to look at it from council to council, and the trend is more pointed to an increase in No Overall Control meaning the biggest party doesn’t have a majority, in Many of these councils Reform may have entered but even with the Tories doesn’t have the numbers for a coalition, the only two councils that Reform has decisively won so far are Newcastle Under Lyme and Havering, but in most NOC councils so far, parties on the left and independents can easily get coalitions or votes of confidence going.
Besides these are local councils, they can only do so much and the next election is still years away
