The Times of Israel reports the U.S. expended more than 200 THAAD interceptors defending Israel against ~650 Iranian ballistic missiles. This is more than half of the total inventory. In addition, over 100 SM-3/SM-6 interceptors were expended. Israel fired under 100 Arrow and ~90 David’s Sling interceptors. U.S. officials claim expenditure will be higher in any renewed round because Israel has pulled batteries for maintenance.

Of note, a U.S official told the WaPo that “Israel is not capable of fighting and winning wars on its own, but nobody actually knows this, because they never see the back end”. In response, the Israeli Embassy in Washington said in response that “the US has no other partner with the military willingness, readiness, shared interests and capabilities of Israel.”
