I'm making this post because someone had asked what has improved since the launch over a year ago. What new features were implemented, what changed. Since i already made a list, i thought i'd make a whole post for it!

I went through my brain and the patch notes for this and it's very chaotic, i'm sorry. Anyone feel free to add to this (or correct me) especially because i focused on live mode.

DISCLAIMER : There are also lots of improvements not mentioned and this only covers live mode

They added multi-tasking and (more) group activities

Jobs: There is now an interview process. They also added more jobs to the different cities like Travel Agent (Cahaya), Architect or Journalist. You can request sick leave, paid leave and remote work. Some companies have company-wide holidays. If your zoi arrives late or is absent, it will have negative impacts. They can get fired and they can retire and receive pension.

There is team projects where your zoi can work on a project together with coworkers.

You can own your own business. it's very customizable and you can add activies for your customers to do at your business. There is an employee system and a customer satisfaction system. You can set opening times for the business. Examples of businesses you can make: Hair salon, flower shop, bakery, bar, clothing store

You can not only own one business but multiple

They added freelancing. You have to get a license and then you can fulfill requests. The licences you can get are: delivery, writing, composing, programming and media production.

Lots of playable locations got added to the different cities. Examples are a cinema, cemetery, public pools, gyms, clubs, hospital

Pregnant Zois can go to the hospital to get an ultrasound. You can find out the gender and throw a gender reveal party.

They improved babies, added new animations and interactions and they're not born with teeth anymore. Instead the teeth come in slowly

Crime: Your Zoi can commit grand theft auto but also smaller crimes like scamming people. The success depends on the Zoi's skills. Your criminal zoi can also break into property.

On the topic of crime, they added trials.

They added Cahaya, a whole new city and with it came a lot of new gameplay like snorkeling! You can get killed by sharks (yay). There is also a resort in cahaya that is functional

There is mining and gardening and you can sell our procuce with market stands

They added swimming (i already mentioned swimming pools got added)

Fishing was added

Baking was added

Drink mixing was added

Crime skill was added

Natural disasters were added like heat wave or flood.

Your Zois can get insurance e.g. life insurance or natural disaster coverage

They added that you can play as a ghost. I think it's only for three days, i've honestly not played with that yet.

Your apartment/house can get broken into. (Sims 3 traumatized me, i still get anxiety when i hear the music lol)
