I had no idea dynamic tariff plans were coming in at all let alone next week! I haven't seen it advertised or communicated by Electric Ireland at all which is surprising?

I'm curious what people's thoughts are on it. We have solar panels that are going gangbusters this week, we do very well on a peak/off-peak/Super cheap plan charging the battery and EV between 2am and 4am currently combined with EI's microgen payout rate. Is the expectation that these plans will be better than that if you've already optimised your usage? Worried about what it will be like in winter time when there's less solar (though more wind I assume).

Really hope this does actually lower prices for everyone in general by decoupling from the Gas baseline price? Or am I misinterpreting that?
