I was devastated to hear the news today about the passing of Claude Lemieux. This kinda hit home for me in a big way.

He had ties to our team as well. He was Frederik Andersen’s longtime agent—Freddie spoke so highly of him just days ago when Claude carried the torch before Game 3. His son Brendan also wore a Canes uni for us.

I think we could do right by our community and our hockey neighbors in Quebec by making a small donation in the man's honor.

If you are able, please consider making a donation in his memory to the Suicide Prevention Centre of Montreal (Centre de prévention du suicide de Montréal) or any other Montreal Mental health charity. They do incredible work providing 24/7 crisis support and prevention resources. I'm going to do this when I get off work.

Know that your friends and family who are struggling may not always show it on the outside.
