hi i saw this post here and i couldnt resonate more with OP's point, im from cmc and i have a younger sibling who goes to uplb, i just have to say na their student council is such a great help to my sister and her friends when they were having problems with slas stipend and registration concerns, they are really hands on in helping students have better education support, yung usc mismo nila ang naglalakad ng mga cases ng students na nagkakaproblema sa slas/financial concerns at sa registration, my sister was able to have financial support even if PD80 lang initial bracket niya because of their usc's guidance on how to appeal and they personally advocated for her sa relevant offices

how i wish that our student councils in diliman can do the same, i hope they can benchmark in uplb to deliver better services sa students, im not saying na engaging sa national issues is wrong but i hope the newly elected usc can balance it out because it is still the usc's mandate to serve their primary constituents aka the students
