You may recall I posted here before asking for testers! Well now I'm excited to share that Boopbeep got approved for the App Store!

Boopbeep is a native Swift SSH, SFTP, and database client for iPhone and iPad (and Mac natively, soon!). I built it because every existing mobile SSH app was either subscription based or didn't focus on the UI enough for my liking, and the database tooling story on iOS basically didn't exist.

What's in the current App Store version (2.2):

• A beautiful intuitive Liquid Glass design that fits like a glove on IOS/iPadOS 26

• Full terminal via SwiftTerm with jump host support, per-host startup commands, custom color themes...

• SFTP file browser with drag and drop, in-place editing, and remote file previews

• 8 database engines wired up: Postgres, MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB, Redis, and more.

• Schema browser, ER diagrams, query history, CSV export, read-only mode for prod, inline cell editing...

• Live host monitoring (CPU, memory, disk, load) pulled from /proc over the same SSH tunnel, no agent required

• iPadOS 26 real multitasking and windowing

What's next:

- v2.3 pending review on the App Store with custom fonts (including powerline and nerd fonts) and support for encrypted .pem!

- v2.4 about to be available on TestFlight, with iCloud sync, Apple Shortcuts support, a text editor for SFTP, inline cell editing for databases, query plan explanations, saved queries...!

And the best part: the app's revenue model for the App Store release is no IAPs, no subscriptions, ever. Just a 5.99$ price and you're done, you own the app and all future features, forever.

Thanks for reading! Let me know what you think!
